Tell us about your journey to health, fitness and wellness.
My life as an athlete began in gymnastics and progressed into professional fitness competitions. My passion turned into health and wellness while working in research at MD Anderson Cancer Center. I now run a complete transformation program with my husband where we help people understand they’re bodies and achieve they’re goals In the most efficient, health supporting way possible. It is my passion to share the knowledge I’ve gained over a lifetime in fitness to help people connect the dots and truly understand their bodies.
What advice do you have for girls and women struggling with body image (as we all do sometimes!) The sooner you start treating your body with love and respect it deserves, the sooner it will repay you over and over again.
You are in your best shape ever. What are your tips for looking and feeling your best?
Move daily, eat well, drink a ton of water and solid morning routine.
What makes you feel your best and strongest (emotionally/spiritually/physically)?
I have an early morning routine structured around goals, creativity and mindfulness. Now that I’ve developed it, I won’t go a day without it.
